Setting the sensitivity of the microphone

The sensitivity of the microphone can be adjusted for recording your voice or the voices of people further away, such as on stage or on conference speakers.

1Press [Options] in the Voice Recorder mode.

2Select For Conference or For Dictation and press O.

Playing back voice data

1In Standby mode, press [Menu],

highlight and press O.

2Select Voice Recorder, press O.

3Select Play and press O to go to the Melody & Ringtones folder in the Media Album.

4Select a compatible sound file and press O to play the file.

Convenient key operation during playback

Sound volume control up/down: Press

u/ d.

Fast-forward: Press and hold r.

Rewind: Press and hold l.

Notes

This function enables you to use the phone as a notepad. Up to 10 note entries each of up to 256 bytes can be stored. You can link an entry to a specified day in the Calendar. Once they are linked, an icon is attached to the day on the Calendar display, so that you can easily check what you have to do on the day.

Creating a Note entry

Note entries can be registered with category icons added to them. There are over 40 kinds of category icons, including Work, Private, School, Holiday, Meeting, etc.

1In Standby mode, press [Menu],

highlight and press O.

2Select Notes and press O, then select Note and press O.

3Select an unregistered item and press [Options], then select Edit.

4Enter characters as desired and press O then select the category icon from the list and press O.

Opening a Note entry

1Open the list of Notes.

Press [Menu] Notes Note

2Select a Note entry and press O.

Editing a Note entry

1Open the list of Notes.

Press [Menu] Notes Note

2Select a Note entry, press [Options], then select Edit and press O.

3Edit the entry and press O. A list of category icons appears.

4Select an icon and press O.
