Conserving the Master

Conserving the Master

The machine automatically changes

the master length depending on the1 paper size you use. This saves both

master and ink.

a = Images on the master

b = Masters

c = Conserved area

Limitation

❒The optional document feeder is required.

Note

❒This function is turned on when you use A4K, 81/2" ⋅ 11" K or B5K paper and you set 2 or more originals in the optional document feeder.

❒This function does not apply to the last page.

❒You can cancel Master Saving mode with the user tools. See “Master length” on p.144 “4. Mode

Setting”. You can also save master using the optional A4, 81/2" ⋅ 11" drum. See p.134 “Changing the Drum Size”.
