Using FAX Mode
Changing the number of rings
If desired, you can change the number of rings on which the fax machine answers incoming calls in FAX mode. Any number from 1 to 5 can be selected.
1 Press these keys: | FUNCTION |

The display will show:
NUMBER OF RINGS
ENTER
2 Enter the desired number of rings (any number from 1 to 5).
The display will briefly show your selection, and then:
RECALL INTERVAL
ENTER

Example: 3 rings
3 Press the STOP key to return to the date and time display.
STOP
Note: If you are using Distinctive Ring, the fax machine will answer calls after two rings regardless of the above setting.
Received document outlet
Note: The received document outlet has a maximum capacity of 100 sheets. To prevent the outlet from becoming obstructed, which will in turn cause paper jams, be sure to frequently remove received documents and copies. Do not allow a large number of documents to accumulate in
the outlet.
