Application
Coaxial cable 2YC(mS) CY1.6/10-75(Z2/5) vs sw is used as
standard as the remote bus cable. The cable may be rout ed in
potentially explosive at mospheres to DIN 57 165/VDE 0165,
Section 5.6.1 and is also suit able for burial in the ground. Max.
permissible length 4000 m.
Coaxial cable 2YC(ms)CY 1.0/6.5--75(Z2/5)vs ws (in-house
cable) can be used indoors. Max. per missible length 2000 m.

Application
The cable 2YC(mS)CYbY1.6/10-75(Z2/5) vs (F 0.8 vzk) sw
(Order No. V45466-D21-B65) must be used if the tensile
strength of the standard remote bus cable i s insufficient. This
has additional armouring to i ncrease the tensile strength of the
cable to 25000 N.
If protection against damage by rodents and mechanical dam-
age is required, the cable 2YC(mS)CYbY1.6/10-75 ( Z2/5) vs
(2 B 0,5 vzk) sw (OrderNo. V45466-D21-B55) wi th additional
steel-tape armouring s hould be used. This cable does not have
an increased tensile strength.
Design
Both cables have the same basic desi gn as the standard re-
mote bus cable (see there) but have addit ional armouring.
Max. permissible l ength of remote bus cable: see standard
cable.

Theremote bus cab lemus t be laid in sand and covered with a suitable mate-
rial,e. g. concrete or p lastics labs. The cable should be laid on a 10-cm thick
layer of sand and then covered with another 10 cm sand. A cable for poten-
tial equilization must be laid above the remote bus cable.
