Characteristics of the PROFIBUS-DP Bus Cable

The PROFIBUS-DP bus cable is a twisted, shielded pair with the following characteristics:

Rules for Laying Cables

When you lay the PROFIBUS-DP bus cable, you should not:

•Twist it,

•Stretch it, or

•Compress it.

Furthermore, when installing the indoor bus cable, you must observe the following basic conditions (dA = outer diameter of the cable):
