Note: You can also set an SNMP trap if traffic exceeds the configured
rate limit using the CLI (see the “rate-limit trap-input” command
on page 28-3).
Command Attribute
Rate Limit – Sets the input or output rate limit for an Ethernet
interface, or the input rate limit for a VLAN port member, in increments
of 64 Kbps.
Default Status: Disabled
Default Rate: 1024000 Kbps
Range: 64- 1024000 Kbps
Configuring Rate Limits for an Ethernet Interface
Web - Click Port, Rate Limit, Input/Output Port/Trunk Configuration.
Set the Input Rate Limit Status or Output Rate Limit Status, then set the
rate limit for the individual interfaces, and click Apply.
