19-2enable
This command activates Privileged Exec mode. In privileged mode,
additional commands are available, and certain commands display
additional information. See “Understanding Command Modes” on pag e
18-7.
Syntax
enable [level]
level - Privilege level to log into the device.
The device has two predefined privilege levels: 0:No rmalExec,
15:Privileged Exec. Enter level 15 to access Privileged Exec mode.

Command Usage
“super” is the default password required to change the command
mode from Normal Exec to Privileged Exec. (To set this password, see
the enable password command on page 22-4.)
The “#” character is appended to the end of the prompt to indicate
that the system is in privileged access mode.
