Connecting a battery pack
Connect and disconnect a battery pack as shown below.

Hold down the release button and pull the battery pack upward.

Warning
This unit is designed for charging Sony lithium-ion battery packs (BP-L40A/L60A/IL75/L90A) and nickel metal hydride battery packs (BP-M50/M100). The DC-L1 (NP-1B adaptor) and DC-L90 (BP-90A adaptor) cannot be used to charge nickel- cadmium battery packs.
