Using PC cards
Your computer includes two PC card slots. PC cards allow you to connect portable external devices, such as another hard disk drive, or to connect a network.
✍The PC card slots can accommodate two Type II PC cards, or one Type III PC card. These slots are compatible with Card Bus. Use the lower slot for Type III PC cards. You do not need to shut down your notebook before inserting or removing a PC card.
To insert a PC Card
Use the lower slot for Type III PC cards.
1Pull the PC card RELEASE button away from the computer, and then push it in toward the computer.
