CONTROL PANEL OPERAT/O/VS

This chapter explains how to use the control panel to:

0 Pause printing

•Feed paper (fast and slow, forward and reverse)

•Select the print pitch

0Select a type style

0Print test patterns

•Prevent software from changing the panel pitch and style selections

•Print a hexadecimal dump

•Park fanfold forms

•Set the top-of-form position

•Set the left and right margins

•Clear the printer’s buffer

SWITCHES AND INDICATORS

The control panel has four switches marked:

0 On Line

•Paper Feed

•Print Pitch

•NLQ Type Style

The On Line, Print Pitch, and NLQ Type Style switches respond with a beep tone when pressed, and indicators beside them indicate their current status. There is also a Power indicator that lights when power is on.
