4.1.2.2AMD PowerNow! Feature Enabled by Default

The AMD PowerNow! feature, which is accessed from the BIOS Setup utility Advanced menu, is enabled by default on the Sun Netra CP3220 blade server. Some problems have been observed when using this feature on certain operating systems. If you want to disable this feature, first refer to the Sun Netra CP3220 Blade Server Product Notes (820-1980) for any outstanding known issues for your operating system.

TABLE 4-1contains summary descriptions of the first-level BIOS Setup screens. For more information about the BIOS screens and screen illustrations, see Appendix B.

HyperTransport devices.

 

Note that the Memory Chipkill option is enabled by default. Enabling

 

Chipkill improves system reliability but degrades system

 

performance under specific applications.

Exit

Save or discard changes, or load optimal default BIOS settings.
