4-2 Main Setup
When you fi rst enter the AMI BIOS Setup Utility, you will enter the Main setup screen. You can always return to the Main setup screen by selecting the Main tab on the top of the screen. The Main BIOS Setup screen is shown below.
When you select the Main Setup, the following items will be automatically displayed:
System Overview: The following BIOS information will be displayed:
AMIBIOS
Version
Build Date
ID
Processors
When you select this option, the AMI BIOS will automatically display the status of processors as shown below:
Type
Speed
Count
System Memory
This option allows the AMI BIOS to display the status of memory installed in the system.
System Time/System Date
Use this option to change the system time and date. Highlight System Time or System Date using the arrow keys. Enter new values through the keyboard. Press the <Tab> key or the arrow keys to move between fi elds. The date must be entered in DAY/MM/DD/YY format. The time is entered in HH:MM:SS format.(*Note: The time is in
