Chapter 4: AMI BIOS
Boot Device Priority
This feature allows the user to specify the sequence of priority for the Boot De- vice.
The settings are 1st Floppy Drive, CD ROM, ATAPI CDROM and Disabled. The default settings are:
·1st boot device – 1st Floppy Drive
·2nd boot device – CD/DVD:
·3rd boot device – SCSI: 00,
·4th boot device – Network: IBA GE Slot
·5th boot device – Network: IBA GE Slot
·6th boot device – Network: IBA GE Slot
Hard Disk Drives
This feature allows the user to specify the boot sequence from available Hard Drives.
1st Drive
· 1ST boot device – SCSI: 00,
Removable Drives
This feature allows the user to specify the boot sequence from available Remov- able Drives.
1st Drive
This option allow the user to specify the boot sequence for 1st Removable Drive.
The options are 1st Floppy Drive and Disabled.
CD/DVD Drives
This feature allows the user to specify the boot sequence from available CD/DVD- Drives.
1st Drive
This option allows the user to specify the boot sequence for the 1st CD/DVD Drive. The options are CD/DVD:
