Chapter 9 Using Business Rules

ϖTo create a business rule:

1Select Model➤ Business Rules.

The List of Rules appears. It displays the business rules defined for the model.

2Click a blank line in the list. or

Click the Add a Row tool.

An arrow appears at the beginning of the line.

3Type a name and a code for the business rule.

4Click Apply.

The creation of the new business rule is committed.

5Click the new business rule line.

An arrow appears at the beginning of the line.

6Click the Properties tool. or

Double click the arrow at the beginning of the line. The property sheet for the new business rule appears.

7Select a business rule type from the Type dropdown listbox

8Click OK.
