CORRECT USAGE

When you use the air conditioner at the first time or when you change the setup value, follow the procedure below. From the next time, the operation displayed on the remote controller will start only by pushing ON / OFF button.

Preparation

Turn on the power switch.

• The operation lamp (Red) flashes.

REQUIREMENT

While using the air conditioner, operate it only with ON/OFF button without turning off the power switch.

When starting the operation after stop for a long time, turn on the power switch for 12 hours or more before start. (This is required because it is necessary to turn on the compressor case heater for heating in order to prevent overload on the compressor when activating the outdoor unit.)

Select an operation mode with “MODE” button.

For every push of the button, the display changes as right figure :

Select air volume with the “FAN” button.

The display changes as follows :

COOL

HEAT

LOW

MED.

HIGH

AUTO

When air volume is “AUTO”, air volume changes according to the room temperature.

3 Determine the set up temperature by pushing the “TEMP.” button.

4 Push “ON/OFF” button.

The operation lamp goes on, and the operation starts .

NOTE

In cooling

• When the operation button is pushed, the operation starts approx. 1minute after.

In heating

When pushing “ON/OFF” button, the indoor fan starts pre-heating operation for 3 to 5 minutes before it starts blowing out hot air.

When the room temperature reaches the set up temperature and the outdoor unit stops, the mode becomes LOW and air volume decreases accordingly. During defrost operation, the fan stops so that cool air is not out, and “PREHEAT” and “DEFROST” are displayed.

When restarting the operation after stop

In heating operation, the fan operation may continue for approx. 30 second.

When restarting the operation immediately after stop, the air conditioner does not operate for approx. 3 minutes to protect the machine.
