Answering Calls

When you hear intercom ringing (two short bursts),

1.Press INTERCOM or select Answer.

2.Speak toward the telephone or lift the handset if privacy is desired.

3.Select Do Not Disturb if you do not wish to answer the call at this time.

NOTE: For more information on setting Do Not Disturb at your station, see section titled Do Not Disturb Condition on page 87.

2.3 Answering Night-Transferred Calls

The system attendant can transfer incoming calls to a particular station or stations for off-hour ringing.

If your telephone rings,

1.Press the line button with the flashing light.

2.Lift the handset to talk.

When you hear loud ringing anywhere in the system,

1.Lift the handset.

2.Press INTERCOM.

3.Choose the ringing zone:

• Dial 65 through 68 to select ringing zone (1-4).

Dial 69 to answer for any zone.

2.4Holding Calls

You can place a call on hold and retrieve it later. With a regular hold, you can pick up the held call at your telephone or another user can pick the call up at a telephone sharing the held call line appearance.
