PRINTER CONTROLLER MESSAGES

Message

F068 HV power supply shut down due to arc.

F083 Extra page in Finisher -- Remove top sheet in Compiler Tray.

F084 Discard purge copies in one bin stacker tray.

F085 Purged prints in Bin 1 and Bin 1 was the selected output

F086 Fault code displayed in standby after purging of prints to Bin 2 if Bin 2 was the selected output.

F087 Machine not ready in 12 seconds.

F089 Purged prints in Sample tray and Sample tray was the selected output.

F090 Fault code displayed in standby after purging of prints to unselected output.

F122 Too few sheets in duplex tray.

F123 Duplex tray integrity fault with cycle down. (Too many/few sheets.)

Explanation/action

The power supply has automatically shut down.

1.Press the Continue button.

2.Discard purged output.

3.If problem persists, notify your service representative. There is an extra page in the finisher.

Check the set delivered to the tray for the purged sheets and remove them.

There are purged sheets in a stacker tray.

Check the set delivered to the tray for the purged sheets and remove them.

There are purged sheets in Bin1.

Check the set delivered to Bin 1 for the purged sheets and remove them.

There are purged sheets in Bin 2.

Check the set delivered to Bin 2 for the purged sheets and remove them.

A subsystem is not ready to print within 12 seconds.

1.Press the Continue button.

2.If problem persists, notify your service representative.

There are purged prints in the sample tray.

Check the set delivered to the sample tray for the purged prints and remove them.

There are purged sheets in the output tray.

Remove purged sheets from the unselected output.

The set separator finger actuated the tray empty switch before the required number of sheets were fed from the duplex tray. This is usually caused by a multifeed out of the duplex tray.

1.Discard unusable sheets.

2.If problem persists, notify your service representative.

An incorrect number of sheets was fed out of the duplex tray (too many or too few). This is usually caused by a multifeed into or out of the duplex tray.

1.Remove the indicated number of sheets from the output. The sheets will be reprinted.

2.Discard the purged output.

3.Press the Continue button.
