Explanation/action

The printer has been powered off, or a cable from the workstation to the printer is either not connected or connected improperly.

1.Check cable connections and power on the printer.

2.Contact your service representative for assistance.

Indicates a software problem on your system. Restart the system. If problem persists, contact your service representative.

A client is sending data to DocuPrint NPS using lpr, is low on disk space, or is sending a very large file. The file being sent is automatically removed from the system without being printed.

Use lpr -s or free up some disk space on the client where the lpr command is being used.

The -C lpr switch was used to request more kinds of media than the maximum allowed.

Resubmit the job with fewer media specifications.
