Yamaha Silent Series owner manual

A Demo song suddenly starts playing. The Silent Series grand piano is still in Demo Song mode. See page 51 for details on how to cancel this mode.

If you are trying to play a MIDI instrument from the Silent Series grand piano, and no sound is being produced by the MIDI instrument:

Is the MIDI cable connected properly? Is the MIDI instrument’s Receive Channel set to 1 or is OMNI ON? Is the MIDI instrument’s volume turned up (or is it connected properly to a sound system)?

If you are trying to play the Silent Series grand piano from an external MIDI device, and no sound is being produced:

Is the MIDI cable connected properly? Is the Transmit Channel on the external device set to channel 1?

If you cannot solve the problem easily, con- sult your Silent Series grand piano dealer. DO NOT try to repair the Silent Series grand piano or the AC adaptor yourself.

Wenn Sie ein MIDI-Instrument vom Flügel der “Silent”-Serieaus spielen möchten, das MIDI-Instrument jedoch keinen Klang erzeugt:

Ist das MIDI-Kabel richtig angeschlos- sen? Ist der Empfangskanal des MIDI- Instruments auf 1 gestellt, oder OMNI ON gewählt? Ist die Lautstärke des Instruments aufgedreht (bzw. ist es rich- tig an eine Verstärkeranlage angeschlos- sen)?

Wenn Sie den Flügel der “Silent”-Serievon einem externen MIDI-Instrument aus spie- len möchten, jedoch kein Ton erzeugt wird:

Ist das MIDI-Kabel richtig angeschlos- sen? Ist der Sendekanal des externen MIDI-Instruments auf 1 gestellt?

Wenn Sie das Problem nicht ohne weiteres lösen können, fragen Sie den Händler, bei dem Sie den Flügel der “Silent”-Serieerwor- ben haben. VERSUCHEN SIE NICHT, den Flügel der “Silent”-Serieoder dessen Netz- teil selbst zu reparieren.
