
Chapter 8 MBSSID and SSID
•WIRELESS > Security (one of the security profiles).
•WIRELESS > RADIUS (one of the RADIUS profiles).
•WIRELESS > MAC Filter (the MAC filter list, if activated in the SSID profile).
•WIRELESS > Layer 2 Isolation (the layer 2 isolation list, if activated in the SSID profile).
•Also, use the VLAN screen to set up wireless VLANs based on SSID.
Configure the fields in the above screens to use the settings in an SSID profile.
Select an SSID profile in the WIRELESS > SSID screen and click Edit to display the following screen.

The following table describes the labels in this screen.

Profile Name | Enter a name identifying this profile. |

SSID | When a wireless client scans for an AP to associate with, this is the name that |
| is broadcast and seen in the wireless client utility. |

Hide Name (SSID) | Select Disable if you want the ZyXEL Device to broadcast this SSID (a |
| wireless client scanning for an AP will find this SSID). Alternatively, select |
| Enable to have the ZyXEL Device hide this SSID (a wireless client scanning |
| for an AP will not find this SSID). |

Security | Select a security profile to use with this SSID profile. See Section 7.9 on page |
| 104 for more information. |

|
RADIUS | Select a RADIUS profile from the |
| server configured. If you do not need to use RADIUS authentication, ignore |
| this field. See Section 7.11 on page 112 for more information. |
