LABEL | DESCRIPTION |
Add Friendly AP | Use this section to manually add a wireless access point to the list. You |
| must know the device’s MAC address. |

MAC Address | Enter the MAC address of the AP you wish to add to the list. |
|
|
Description | Enter a short, explanatory description identifying the AP with a maximum of |
| 32 alphanumeric characters. Spaces, underscores (_) and dashes |
| allowed. |
|
|
Add | Click this button to include the AP in the list. |
|
|
Friendly AP List | This is the list of safe wireless access points you have already configured. |
|
|
# | This is the index number of the AP’s entry in the list. |
|
|
MAC Address | This field displays the Media Access Control (MAC) address of the AP. All |
| wireless devices have a MAC address that uniquely identifies them. |
|
|
SSID | This field displays the Service Set IDentifier (also known as the network |
| name) of the AP. |
|
|
Channel | This field displays the wireless channel the AP is currently using. |
|
|
Security | This field displays the type of wireless encryption the AP is currently using. |
|
|
Description | This is the description you entered when adding the AP to the list. |
|
|
Delete | Click this button to remove an AP’s entry from the list. |
|

You can set how often you want the ZyXEL Device to scan for rogue APs in the ROGUE AP
>Configuration screen (see Section 11.3.1 on page 137). Click ROGUE AP > Rogue AP. The following screen displays.
