This appendix provides installation procedures, maintenance and instructions for using the front page (pre-scan) and back page (post- scan) imprinter.

Front page (pre-scan)imprinting prints the user-specified alphanumeric string on the front side of documents before they are scanned, with the printed results captured on the scanned images.

Back page (post-scan)imprinting prints the user-specified alphanumeric string on the back side of documents after they have been scanned. The printed results are not captured on the scanned images.

NOTE: Simultaneous back-page and front-page imprinting is allowed using Direct ISIS or TWAIN drivers.
