1 4Gbit/s FC I/O Module
This chapter explains the features and specifications of this product.
1.1Overview
This product is a Fibre Channel expansion board for use exclusively with BX620 S3 and BX620 S4 server blades. This product is configured with one dual port (2 ports) Fibre Channel controller, it is supplied to connect to external storage Fibre Channels. Use only the FC Switch Blade connected to network blade slots 3 or network blade slots 4 (NET 3 or NET4) to access the external storage.

Mixed loading of a server blade with a 4Gbit/s FC I/O Module and server blade with a 1Gbit/s Ethernet I/O Module in the same chassis is not possible.
If a FC Switch Blade is installed in network blade slot 3 or network blade slot 4 (NET 3 or NET4), it cannot be installed at the same time as the switch blade.
