CLK MASTER

Selects the master timing reference.

ASMi-450 configured as central (CNTR) unit:

EXT

Locked to the clock signal provided by the

The available selections depend on

user's equipment (this locks the HDSL

the ASMi-450 function. Refer to

transmit timing to the timing of the incoming

Section 1-2 for details

user's signal).

INT

Internal oscillator.

Default: EXT

ASMi-450 configured as remote (REM) unit:

Always locked to the recovered receive clock of the

HDSL line. This locks the user's equipment timing to

the timing of the HDSL signal.

ACTIVE TS

Determines the number of active

The number of time slots can be set from 1 up to the

HDSL time slots, which determines

maximum supported by the corresponding ASMi-450

user's data rate.
