Setting the Low Funds Warning

You can have the postage meter warn you when your postage (funds) in the machine reaches a certain amount. This warning acts as a reminder for you to add more postage to your machine (by con- necting to the Data Centre and downloading funds).

1.Press Menu.

2.Use the Review keys to scroll and select "Change Setup".

3.Use the Review keys to scroll and select "Change low funds warn- ing?".

4.Key in the amount. A confirming message displays.

5.When finished, follow prompts to return to main screen.

Entering the Prefix for Dialing Out to Data Centre

You can tell the postage meter if you need to dial a prefix number (like 9) to get an outside line when dialing out to the Data Centre.

1.Press Menu.

2.Use the Review keys to scroll and select "Change Setup".

3.Use the Review keys to scroll and select "Change Communication settings?".

4.Use the Review keys to scroll and select "Change outside line number (prefix)?".

5.Key in the outside line (prefix). A confirming message displays.

6.When finished, follow prompts to return to main screen.

Selecting Tone/Pulse for Dialing Out to Data Centre

You can tell the postage meter if you use a tone or pulse type phone when dialing out to the Data Centre.

1.Press Menu.

2.Use the Review keys to scroll and select "Change Setup".

3.Use the Review keys to scroll and select "Select Communication settings?".

4.Use the Review keys to scroll and select "Change dial method?".

5.Select the dialing method (tone or pulse). A confirming message displays.

6.When finished, follow prompts to return to main screen.
