3. Telephone

LTo search for symbols, press {1}, {*} or {#}.

3.Press {V} repeatedly to display LISA.

LTo stop the search, press {OFF}.

LTo dial the displayed number, press {TALK},

{SP-PHONE}or {Call} (soft key).

Chain dial feature

You can dial a combination of phonebook items during the same call. This feature is useful if for example, you want to dial a number, then enter a PIN. All items must be stored in the phonebook beforehand (page 22).

1.During a phone call, press {MENU}.

2.Press {1} to select Phonebook.

3.Press {V} or {^} repeatedly to display the desired

item.

4.{Call} (soft key)

LIf required, repeat steps 1 to 4 for any remaining numbers.

Note:

LIf you have rotary or pulse service, you need to press {*} before pressing {MENU}in step 1 to change the dialing mode temporarily to tone.

LTo prevent misdialing, we recommend you add pauses where needed when storing numbers. For example, add pauses after a telephone number when storing in the phonebook (page 22) if a PIN number is to be dialed after it.
