1Insert a white piece of paper into the document feeder.

2Press OK, 931 and OK.

3Confirm with OK.

4Wait until calibration is completed and the device returns to starting mode.

Using Service Codes

The service codes delete all the changed settings and your device is reset to factory settings. It may be possible that the device with the changed settings reacts differently than expected.

CAUTION!

Settings will be Deleted!

Only use the service codes if this is absolutely necessary. Some service codes also delete saved messages and telephone book entries.

1Press OK, 933 and OK.

2Enter a service code:

70015—Deletes all changed settings. Saved data and telephone book entries remain intact.

70026—Deletes saved faxes, when there are problems with printing.

3Confirm with OK.

4 Using [ select SURE:

YES.

5Confirm with OK.

Notice

Cancelling Entry

If you have entered the incorrect code, you

can cancel the entry with SURE:

NO.

Power Cycling

If a problem occurs that cannot be corrected with the instructions in this user manual (see also the help below), follow the steps given here.

1Switch the device off using the on/off switch on the rear.

2Wait at least ten seconds.

3Switch the device on using the on/off switch on the rear.

4Follow the instructions on the display. If the problems repeats, please contact our technical customer service or your retailer.
