Forwarding a fax or message

Fax forwarding

While you are away from your home or office, you do not have to miss important faxes. Your machine can forward any faxes it receives to a fax machine at your new location, and it can print a copy for you to review when you get back as well.

1Press Menu repeatedly, and press Enter when ADVANCED FAX appears.

2Select Set Fax Forward by pressing < or >, and press Enter.

The display shows Off, Forward or Forward & Print whenever you press < or >.

Off: disables fax forwarding

Forward: forwards a fax to your new location

Forward & Print: forwards a fax and prints it to your new location

3Press Enter after selecting Forward or Forward & Print.

4Enter the fax number and press Enter.

5Enter the start time and press Enter.

6Enter the end time and press Enter

The machine returns to Standby Mode and FWD will appear in the display at Fax Forward start time and every fax will be forwarded to your new location till the end time.

During forwarding time, the receive mode temporarily changes to:

When you’re out of the office or home and you want to be notified whenever there’s a new message left on your

machine, you need to use the Message Forwarding feature supplied with your machine.

The display shows Off or On whenever you press < or >.

Press Menu repeatedly, and press Enter when SETUP TAM appears.

Select Message Forward by pressing < or >, and press Enter.

 

 

• Off: disables message forwarding

Press Enter after selecting On.

Enter the fax number and press Enter.

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you have ever recorded a Paging OGM before, the machine asks if you want to change.

 

 

If there is no recorded OGM, the machine asks to record OGM.

To change or record the OGM press Enter, and speak into the microphone.
