INSTALLATION

EMPLACEMENTS DE MONTAGE

L’emplacement de l’appareil audio influe grandement sur les performances du lecteur CD. Il peut être installé dans plusieurs endroits. Choisissez-en un qui assurera des per- formances optimales.

Compartiment du moteur

Monter l’appareil dans le compartiment du moteur annulera votre garantie. Non seule- ment cela endommagera l’appareil, mais cela vous méritera le titre de « client du mois » chez notre support technique.

Tableau de bord

Installer l’appareil dans le tableau de bord assure un accès optimal. L’appareil doit être solidement monté selon « l’installation standard » ou « l’installation ISO » afin d’obtenir les meilleurs résultats avec le lecteur CD.

Console centrale

Installer l’appareil dans la console centrale assure un accès optimal. Assurez-vous que l’installation n’interfère pas avec le maniement du levier de vitesse ou du frein à main. L’appareil audio doit être monté à un angle de ±20° de l’horizontale.

Boîte à gant

Installer l’appareil dans la boîte à gant est acceptable, mais cela n’assure pas un accès facile. Cela ne doit être fait que s’il n’est pas possible d’installer l’appareil dans le

«tableau de bord » ou la « console centrale » (dans le cas, par exemple, de vieux

véhicules équipés de tableaux de bord métalliques). L’appareil audio doit être monté à un angle de ±20° de l’horizontale.

Sous le tableau de bord

Installer l’appareil sous le tableau de bord est acceptable, mais cela n’assure pas un accès facile. Cela ne doit être fait que s’il n’est pas possible d’installer l’appareil dans le

«tableau de bord », la « console centrale » ou la « boîte à gant ». Montez l’appareil à droite de la zone du conducteur afin de minimiser toute interférence avec le frein de sta- tionnement, le levier de vitesse ou les pédales. L’appareil audio doit être monté à un angle de ±20° de l’horizontale.
