Wrist strap buckle and two openings on the back cover are stainless steel complying with EU Directive 94/27/EU and its amendment 1999/C 205/05 on the release of nickel from products intended to come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin.

Watch accuracy better than ± 0,5 seconds/ day at 25 °C/ 77 °F temperature. Polar S710 is a Class 1 Laser Product.

Accuracy of heart rate measurement: ±1% or ±1 bpm, whichever larger, definition applies to steady state conditions.

Altitude and temperature measurement: The Polar S710 calculates altitude by using the standard average altitude in certain air pressures according to the ISO 2533. The air pressure is measured and the temperature is compensated every second. Polar S710 displays altitudes between - 448 m - 7590 m or between - 1600 ft - 24900 ft with at least a 1 m/ 5 ft resolution. The reference point’s adjustable altitude range is ± 610 m/ 2000 ft from the last measured value.
