1.Press the Directory button.

2.Press and hold the Delete button for four to five seconds until “DELETE ALL?” appears. All entries in the directory are permanently erased.

Storing a New Number and Name in the Memory Buttons

The AltiTouch 500 has 7 programmable memory buttons. (The first 3 buttons - Menu, Save and Delete - are customized and cannot be re- programmed.)

To store a new number and name in the memory buttons:

1.Press the Save button when the display shows no caller's number or name. The “SAVE TO?” prompt appears on the display.

2.Press the memory button where you wish to store this telephone number (e.g., M1). The “ENTER NUMBER>” prompt appears on the display.

3.Use the keypad to enter the telephone number, including the trunk access code and long distance prefix that you need to dial this number. Insert a pause or multiple pauses where required by

using the Pause button. Then press the Save button.

Note: If you need to dial an outside number, you will need to include the trunk access code in the phone number you entered.

4.The third line of LCD alternately displays the entered number and “USE SAVE TO END.”

5.After saving the number, you are prompted for name. Use the keypad to input the first character of the name. The number and letters on each telephone button are displayed in turn.
