Troubleshooting

If you still have difficulties after following the instructions in this section, disconnect the AC adaptor and turn off the handset, then reconnect the AC adaptor and turn on the handset.

LThe handset is not registered to the base unit.

 

Register it (page 46).

 

LThe handset is too far from the base unit. Move

 

closer.

 

LThe AC adaptor is not connected. Check the

 

connections.

 

LYou are using the handset or base unit in an area

 

with high electrical interference. Locate the handset

 

and base unit away from interference sources, such

 

as antenna and mobile phones.

 

 

The handset display is blank.

LThe handset is not turned on. Turn the power on

 

(page 11).

 

 

The handset will not turn on.

LMake sure that the batteries are installed correctly

 

(page 10).

 

LFully charge the batteries (page 10).

 

LClean the charge contact and charge again (page
