Hot glass will cause burns.

DO NOT touch glass until it is cooled

Contact your dealer for more information, or visit: www. hpba.org/safety-information.

To prevent unintended operation when not using your fire- place for an extended period of time (summer months, vacations, trips, etc):

Unplug 6 volt adapter plug and remove batteries on IPI models.

When lighting the pilot light on fireplaces with a standing pilot, remove the fixed glass assembly so you can de- tect presence of residual gas build-up. See Standing Pilot Lighting instructions and Maintenance Tasks.
