Recommended Installation Procedure

1Frame the opening for the fireplace. Make sure to allow for vent installation and the type of installation (corner or flat wall).

2Insert the fireplace into the framing. Slide it back until the firebox front face is flush with the framing members. Verify all clearances at this point.

3Secure the fireplace to the floor by screwing or nailing through the nail-down plates (found on both sides and back of the fireplace).

4Complete the gas line installation.

5Complete the electrical hook-up.

6Complete the vent installation.

7Install the hearth (if applicable).

8Install the facing.

9Install the mantel (if applicable).
