Creating a New Directory Entry

To save a new entry to the Directory:

1.Press ß.

2.Press ¢.

3.Enter the number (up to 24 digits) using the dial pad.

4.Press ß. Only the number is stored at this point.

5.If you do not want a name, go to step 6. To enter a name, use the dial pad.

See Entering Names below.

6.Press ß.

7.Select the mailbox number you want to assign to this person. If you do not select a

mailbox, the General Mailbox is assigned. See Mailboxes on page 29.

8.Press ß.

9.Lift the handset and press §to record a Call Announcement (Voice Tag). See

Call Announce (Voice Tag) on page 22.

Note : If you do not want to record a Call Announce message, go to step 13.

10.Record your Call Announcement (Voice Tag) after the tone.

11.Press ß.

12.Press ¶to review your recording.

13.Press ßto end your recording.

14.Press §to record a personalized greeting.

15.Pick up the handset and press §.

16.Record your personalized greeting after the tone.

17.Press ß.

18.Press ¶to review your recording.

19.Press ®.
