1. Pressthe Directory button.
2. Pressand hold the Delete button for four to five seconds until
“DELETEALL?” appears. All entries in the directory are
permanentlyerased.
Storing a New Number and Name in the Memory Buttons
TheAltiTouch 500 has 7program mable memory buttons. (The first 3
buttons- Menu,Save and Delete - are customized and cannot be re-
programmed.)

To store a new number and name in the memory buttons:

1. PresstheSave buttonwhenthedisplay
showsno caller's number or name. The
“SAVE TO?” promptappears on the
display.
2. Press the memory button where you
wishto store this telephone number
(e.g.,M1). The “EN TER
NUMBER>” prompt appearson the
display.
3. Usethe keypad to enter the telephone
number,including the trunk access
codeand long distance prefix that you
needto dial this number. Insert a pause
ormultiple pauses where required by
using the Pause button. Then press the Save button.
Note: Ifyou need to dial an outside number, you will need to include
thet runkaccess code in the phone number you entered.
4. Thethird line of LCD alternately
displaysthe entered number and “USE
SAVE TO END.”
5. After saving the number, you are
promptedfor name. Use the keypad to
inputthe first character of the name.
Thenumber and letters on each
telephone button are displayed in turn.
