Forexternal numbers, dial the trunk access code (e.g., 9 or 8) and any long

distanceprefix such as 1 and areacode. Press *** to disconnectfrom the

call and return to the AltiGen Voice Mail System.

Personal Options

Personalizeyour A ltiGen Voice Mail System by creating unique greetings

andcustomizing the system to notify you of important calls or remind you

aboutmeetings and action items.

Atthe M ain Menu, press 4for the following Personal Options:

• Personal Greetings

•Password

• Message Notification

•ReminderCall

•CallForwarding

•FeatureTips

• Distribution Lists

• Log on/off IP Extension

Recording Greetings

At the Personal Options menu, press 1to record greetings, then press…

•1toaccess your Personal Greeting.

Recordyour greeting and press #when finished. Example: “Hi, this

isMary Smith. I am unable to answer your call at this time. Please

leavea d etailed message and I will return your call promptly.”*

•2to recordyour Directory Name.

Recordyour full name and press #when finished.

•3toselect which greeting to use (greeting 1through 9).

Note: Anagent extension can also select a greeting through AltiView

orAlti Agent.
