9� Internet settings
Shows the settings of th e Internet/WAN side of the Router that
connects to the Interne t. Changes to any of these settings can be made
by clicking on the links or by clicking on t he “Internet/ WAN” quick-
navigation link on the le ft side of the sc reen.

Shows the status of the R outer’s firewall, and wireless feature s.
Changes can be made to the settings by c licking on any one of the links
or by clicking the quick-n avigation links on t he left side of t he screen.

The page you are on can be identified by this name. This U ser Manual
will sometimes refer to pages by name. For instance “LAN > LAN
Settings” refers to the “LAN Setting s” page.
step 4: Configuring your Router for Connection to your Internet se rvice Provider (IsP)
The “Internet/WAN” t ab is where you wi ll set up your Route r to connect
to your Internet Servi ce Provider (ISP). T he Router is capa ble of
connecting to virtual ly any ISP’s system pr ovided you have corr ectly
configured the Router’s se ttings for your IS P’s connection typ e. Your ISP
connection settings are provided to you by your ISP. To configure the
Router with the setting s that your ISP gave you, click “Connec tion Type”
(A) on the left side of the screen. Se lect the connec tion type you use. If
your ISP gave you DNS set tings, clicking “D NS” (B) allows you to enter
DNS address entries f or ISPs that requi re specific set tings. Clicking
“MAC Address” (C) will let you clone your com puter’s MAC address o r
type in a specific WAN MAC address, if r equired by your ISP. When you
have finished making se ttings, the “Inter net Status” indic ator will read
“connection OK” if your Router is set up p roperly.
