UsINg THe Web-based adVaNCed UseR INTeRfaCe setting MaC address Control
The MAC address filter is a powerful se curity feature t hat allows you to
specify which compu ters are allowed o n the wireless ne twork. Note:
This list applies only to wireless comp uters. This list can be configure d
so any computer attempt ing to access the wireless networ k that is not
specified in the filte r list will be den ied access. Whe n you enable this
feature, you must enter t he MAC address of each client (compu ter) to
which you want to allow net work access. T he “Block” featur e lets you
turn on and off acce ss to the network easily for any com puter without
having to add and remove th e computer’s MAC addr ess from the lis t.

1� Select the “Allow” radio b utton (a) to begin setting up a list
of computers allowed to c onnect to the wir eless network.
2� Next, in the “MAC Address” field that is bla nk (c), type in the
MAC address of the wirel ess computer you want to be able
to access the wireles s network, then c lick “<<Add” (d).
3� Continue to do this until all of the computers you wan t to add have
been entered.
4� Click “Apply Changes” (e) to fini sh.
