Manually Configuring Network settings in Windows 2000, NT, or XP
1� Click “Start”, “Setting s”, then “Control Panel ”.
2� Double-click on the “Net work and dial-up connections” ico n
(Windows 2000) or the “Network” icon (Windows XP).
3� Right-click on the “Local A rea Connection” a ssociated with yo ur
network adapter and selec t “Properties” fr om the drop-down men u.
5� If “Use the following IP addres s” (2) is selected, your Router will
need to be set up for a static IP connec tion type. Write t he address
information the table b elow. You will need to ente r this information
into the Router.

6� If not already selected, s elect “Obtain an IP address automa tically”
(1) and “Obtain DNS server address automati cally” (3). Click “O K”.
