Name and Password Syntaxes

All types of names

•have 1 to 31 alphanumeric characters

•do not contain periods “.”

•start with a letter

•are case-sensitive

All types of passwords are 6 to 15 alphanumeric characters, and are case-sensitive.

During initial configuration, current values of parameters are shown in parentheses ( ) on the console display.
