Mapping to a MIC 500 Series Camera Function

If utilizing the mapping functionality of the Sony Set options, there should be a Sony Set table

(1 as default) mapped to normal which changes all of the options set in the other tables back

to a default condition for the camera.

For example, for an ANPR setup on preset 10, table 2 should resemble something as follows:

Function

Value

Exposure

Shutter Priority

Shutter Set

To ensure that the camera returns to a normal state once leaving this preset, one of the Sony Set tables must be mapped to Normal and have the following in it:

Function

Exposure

Value

Auto

The normal setup is also loaded on boot. Mapping to an alarm works in exactly the same way as the preset mapping, being called when the respective alarm input is triggered. If Multi Alarms is not switched on, then the table can be mapped to the tamper switch input.

The Sony Set sub menu is called in the same way as Setup Tour in that a Sony Set table number, 1 to 10, must be selected before it is opened.

There are 3 options on the main page which set up the overall information of the Sony Set table, with the individual commands being specified on the Setup Command List sub menu. If Preset is selected on the Mapped To option, the number option becomes available, allowing a
