Delayed Transmission (Timer)

You can use this function to send a fax up to 24 hours later.

1Insert the document in the feeder.

2You can press Help/Memory to use memory transmission––OR–– leave the document in the feeder to be scanned at the specified time.

3Press Menu, 3, 4.

4Enter the time you want the fax to be sent, in 24-hour format (for example, enter 19:45 for 7:45 PM).

5Press Set. The screen displays

6Press 1 if you want to select additional settings. The display returns to the Setup Send menu––OR––Press2if you are finished choosing settings and go to Step 7. The screen prompts you to enter the fax number.

7Enter the fax number, and press Start. The machine will wait until the time you have entered to send the fax.

The machine will not start scanning the document until the time it is due to be sent, so the document must be left in the feeder. (For FAX-515 Only)

Broadcasting (For FAX-525DT Only)

Using the numbers you have stored in Groups, One Touch and Speed Dial memory, you can “broadcast” faxes automatically to up to 60 different locations in a few simple steps.

1Insert the document in the feeder.

2Press Help/Memory. The screen displays how much memory is available.

3Enter the One Touch and Speed Dial numbers (one after the other) or Group Number you have stored.

4Press Start. The machine stores the document in memory, then transmits it to all the numbers you entered. If the line is busy, the machine will retry.

Press Stop during transmission to cancel the current fax broadcast.
