4 Faxing from the Glass Platen

1 Place the document face down on the glass platen.

2 Dial the fax number, then press Mono Fax Start. The machine starts scanning the first page.

3 To send a single page, go to Step 5—OR—To send

4Place the next page on the glass platen and press Menu/Set. The machine starts scanning. (Repeat Step 4 for each additional page.)

5Press Mono Fax Start to begin dialling.

■Press Stop/Exit to cancel.

■If memory is full and you are faxing a single page, it will be sent in real time. ■You can fax a single colour page from glass platen.

5Making a Single copy

1Insert the document face up in the Automatic Document Feeder, or face down on the glass platen.

2Press Mono Copy or Colour Copy.

To stop the copy process and release the original, press Stop/Exit.

6 Multiple Copies (Using the Automatic Document Feeder)

1Insert the document face up in the Automatic Document Feeder.

2Using the dial pad, enter the number of copies you want (up to 99). For example, press 3, 8 for 38 copies.

3Press Mono Copy or Colour Copy.

To sort the copies, use Options before you press Mono Copy or

Colour Copy. (See Using the Options Key, page 56)

7 Multiple Copies (Using the Glass Platen)

1Place the document face down on the glass platen.

2Using the dial pad, enter the number of copies you want (up to 99). For example, press 3, 8 for 38 copies.

3Press Mono Copy or Colour Copy.

3Place the next page to be copied on the glass platen, and then press Mono Copy or

Colour Copy.

3Press Stop/Exit when you are finished copying.
