11 Making Copies
Basic Copy Operations
Your
Copy Keys
Do NOT pull on the paper while copying is in progress.
■ Incoming faxes cannot be received on paper or into memory while the machine is copying.
Making a Single Copy1 Insert the document face up in the Automatic Document Feeder, or face down on the glass platen.
2 Press Mono Copy or Colour Copy. | COPYING | P.01 |

To stop the copy process and release the original, press Stop/Exit.
Making Multiple Copies (Using the Automatic Document Feeder)1 Insert the document face up in the Automatic Document Feeder.
2 Using the dial pad, enter the number of copies you want (up to 99). For example, press 3, 8 for 38 copies.
To sort the copies, use Options key. (See Using the Options Key, page 56) Sorting colour copies uses more memory and depends upon the data.
3 Press Mono Copy or Colour Copy.
