5.5DEVICE MENU SCREEN

The Device Menu screen is the access point for all Local Management screens. Figure 5-7shows the Device Menu screen.

NOTE

If the terminal is idle for several minutes, the Local Management Password screen redisplays and the session ends.

The following explains each Device Menu screen field as shown in Figure 5-7:

DEVICE CONFIGURATION

The Device Configuration screen provides access to the Local Management screens that are used to configure the 2H28-08R and also to the Device Specific Configuration Menu screen. The Device Specific Configuration Menu screen provides access to the screens that allow the user to check the 2H28-08R resources and set operating parameters specific to each port. For details, refer to Section 5.6.
