5.11 ETHERNET INTERFACE CONFIGURATION

Access the Ethernet Interface Conﬁguration screen from the Device

Conﬁguration Menu screen by using the arrow keys to highlight the

ETHERNET INTERFACE CONFIGURATION menu item and

pressing ENTER. The Ethernet Interface Conﬁguration screen displays.

The following section brieﬂy explains each ﬁeld of the Ethernet Interface

Conﬁguration screen:

Port Num (Read-only)

Identiﬁes the port number.

Port Type (Read-only)

Displays the name of the interface in ports 1 through 8. “Unknown” will

be displayed for port 7 or 8 if a Fast Ethernet Module is not installed in

those ports.
