*During Target Mode operations, the Tag bit in the Unit Option (08H) command’s Unit Flag byte controls whether Group 2’s 6- or 10-byte commands are accepted. This applies to the Extended Unit Options (18H) command as well, see Chapter 7 for further details.

The RF3880 will decode the group number of a SCSI command, and only receive the number of command bytes specified by that group code. If more information is required by a vendor-specific command, the additional information must be sent in the Data phase.

The RF3880 makes the following assumptions about the length of a Command Descriptor Block received from the Host:
