Power Distribution Unit (PDU)
TheAC PDU (N01-UAC1) provides load balancing between the installed power supplies, as well as distributing
powerto theother chassis components. DC versions ofthe chassis use adifferent PDU with appropriate
connectors.The PDU is not field-serviceable, and converting an AC chassis to a DC chassis by swapping the
PDUis not supported, as the PDU is not separately orderable.

TheAC version of the PDU has four power connectors rated for 15.5 A, 200-240V @ 50-60 Hz. Only use
Ciscoapproved power cords, different power cords are available for many countries and applications. See for

formore information.
TheDC version of the PDU has eight dual-post lug power connections, four positive and four negative. A
singledual-post lug groundingconnection is alsoprovided.
