Removing a Fan Module

Procedure

Step 1 Holdthe fan moduleby itshandle.

Step 2 Pressdown onthe spring latchat the top of the fan module.

Step 3 Pullthe fan module clear of the chassis.

Thechassis is designed to have all fan modules in place and operating at all times. Do not leave a

fanmodule bay emptyfor longer thanis necessary to replace it with a newfan module.
